Event Format

• 2-player teams
• 2,000 points per team—1,000 points per player
• 3 games across one day
• Games are played on the standard Strike Force battlefield size: 44" × 60"
• We are using the Games Workshop Warhammer Doubles Event Companion as written, with no house rules
• Please read the Doubles Event Companion for the rules governing team composition, army building, shared Command points, Stratagems and interactions between teammates’ armies
• Matched Play using the current Mission Deck, army-building rules and latest FAQs/errata
• Primary missions, deployments and terrain layouts are randomly selected from the current Chapter Approved Tournament Mission Pool in the Games Workshop Warhammer Event Companion
• Team lists must be submitted via Best Coast Pairings (BCP) by 23:59 on the Wednesday before the event
• Round 1 pairings and terrain/mission details will be posted to the MMG Community Discord on the Friday before the event

About Our Doubles Events

Our 40K Doubles events let you team up with a mate and combine two 1,000-point armies into a single 2,000-point force. Each pair plays and scores together, bringing an extra layer of teamwork, army building and tactical decision-making to every game.

You don’t need to be a tournament veteran to take part. MMG is a warm, welcoming venue where sportsmanship, fair play and community spirit matter. Whether you’re aiming for the top table or simply looking forward to three enjoyable games alongside a friend, you’ll find your place here.
