Getting started with Age of Sigmar
Should I choose the Introductory Set or Starter Set?
Choose the Introductory Set to try building, painting and introductory games, with paints and a brush included. The Starter Set offers larger opposing Stormcast Eternals and Skaven forces, a handbook, gaming mat, rulers and dice. Paints and brushes are not included in the Starter Set.
Which sets include paints and a brush?
The Introductory Set includes six paints and a starter brush. For a smaller painting project, the Stormcast Eternals & Paint Set includes three Liberators, while the Skaven & Paint Set includes five Clanrats. Both painting sets include six paints and a brush. Check each product page for full contents.
Do I need glue or hobby clippers?
The miniatures in these Introductory, Starter and painting sets are push-fit, so plastic glue is not required. The current Introductory Set is designed for its parts to be removed without clippers. The painting sets need hobby clippers, and clippers are recommended for the larger Starter Set. Check your chosen product's assembly information before buying tools.
Is a starter set everything I need for Spearhead?
Do not assume the Introductory Set or standard Starter Set contains a complete Spearhead gaming setup. A faction Spearhead box provides a force; you also need an opponent, the appropriate rules and battlepack materials, a battlefield, dice and measuring tools. Check the contents of your chosen box or ask the Mighty Melee team before ordering.
