Start a Black Templars Army
This Combat Patrol gives you a distinctly Black Templars force, combining powerful close-combat units with flexible Crusaders and elite warriors.
It's an ideal starting point if you've chosen Black Templars as your faction and want a playable force that can form the foundation of a larger Warhammer 40K army.
Plenty of Customisation Options
The miniatures in this set include a wide range of weapon and build options, allowing you to personalise your force.
The Bladeguard Veterans can be equipped with different combinations of swords, shields and pistols, while the veteran sergeant has several pistol options. Heads, arms and tilting plates are interchangeable across the squad.
The Sword Brethren include multiple melee and ranged weapon options, including thunder hammer, plasma pistol, pyre pistols and twin lightning claws. One model can also be built as an optional Castellan.
The Crusader Squad can be equipped with a mix of firearms, bolt rifles, chainswords, pyreblasters and power fists, with the option to build one Initiate as a Sword Brother.
Play Combat Patrol
Combat Patrol is a great way to start playing Warhammer 40,000. Each Combat Patrol provides a pre-selected force designed for smaller, accessible games, letting you learn how your army plays before expanding into larger battles.
You'll need the relevant Combat Patrol rules, dice, measuring tools and a battlefield to play.

Assembly Information
This kit comprises 468 plastic components and includes:
- 10 Citadel 40mm Round Bases
- 4 Citadel 28mm Round Bases
- 6 Citadel 32mm Round Bases
- 2 Black Templars Upgrades Transfer Sheets, each containing 226 waterslide transfers
Miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. Paints, tools and plastic glue are sold separately.
