The Waffen-SS were the notorious political fighting forces of Nazi Germany. Often prioritised for advanced equipment and reinforcements, they considered themselves distinct from the regular German Army and developed a reputation as determined and dangerous opponents on the battlefield. Their ideological fanaticism and wartime conduct remain deeply controversial and historically associated with numerous atrocities committed during the Second World War. Despite suffering heavy losses and declining standards later in the war, Waffen-SS formations continued to fight with fierce determination until the conflict’s end.

This starter set provides a fully legal Waffen-SS force for Bolt Action: Third Edition, entirely in plastic. At its core are 36 infantry models forming a Rifle Platoon, supported by mortar teams and machine guns from a Heavy Weapons Platoon. Backing up your infantry are an Sd.Kfz. 251/10 commander’s half-track and the iconic StuG III assault gun, forming a powerful Armoured Platoon. A PaK 40 anti-tank gun completes the force with additional long-range firepower through an Artillery Platoon.
