MMG Spearhead League Summer 2026 Results

The MMG Summer 2026 Spearhead League began with ten players and settled into an eight-player field for the remainder of the campaign.

Played across five rounds over ten weeks, the league gave players plenty of time to arrange their games while still producing a proper developing campaign. With eight different Spearheads completing the season, players faced a varied field drawn from across the Mortal Realms.
Theo R claimed first place with his Soulblight Gravelords, completing an unbeaten campaign with five wins from five games. His Deathrattle Tomb Host proved remarkably consistent, recording scores of 21, 18, 21, 19 and 21 across the five rounds.
Caleb P and his Hedonites of Slaanesh took second place, finishing the league with three wins, one draw and one defeat. Caleb’s Blades of the Lurid Dream produced the highest individual score of the season with a 25-point victory in Round 2.
Kieran M completed the podium with his Ossiarch Bonereapers. The Kavalos Vanguard recovered from an opening-round defeat to win three of its remaining four games, including a closely fought 23–21 victory in Round 3.

A Varied Spearhead Field
One of the strengths of the league was the variety of forces represented. The final field contained eight different factions and eight different Spearheads, ranging from the relentless skeleton formations of the Deathrattle Tomb Host to the speed of the Kavalos Vanguard and Hurakan Vanguard.
The season also featured the aggressive Blades of the Lurid Dream, the uncompromising faith of Zenestra’s Zealots, the technological mayhem of the Warpspark Clawpack, and forces from Seraphon and Stormcast Eternals.
The results showed how quickly a Spearhead game can turn, with several games across the season decided by only one or two points.
Two Round 5 games were recorded as technical draws because the players were unable to find a mutually suitable time to play before the deadline. The next MMG Spearhead League begins on Monday 5 October 2026 and will once again run for five rounds across ten weeks.
