MMG Autumn 2026 Hobby Competition

We’re introducing a new seasonal format for the MMG Hobby Competition, with four competitions each year aligned with our Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer league seasons.
Each competition will run for around ten weeks, giving hobbyists plenty of time to complete and photograph their entries.
Autumn 2026 Hobby Competition
Our first seasonal hobby competition will run from 5 October to 13 December 2026.
The competition is open to all MMG community members. You do not need to be participating in one of our leagues to enter.
Entry Categories
- Single Model
- Unit or Team
- Skirmish Force – a complete Combat Patrol, Spearhead, Battle March force or similar
- Vehicle or Monster
- Terrain or Diorama
How to Enter
Entries must be submitted through the relevant Hobby Competitions section of the MMG Community Discord by midnight on Sunday 13 December 2026.
Each entry must include:
- Your name
- A short description of your entry
- At least one good-quality photograph
Multiple photographs are encouraged. Please use good lighting and, where possible, photograph your entry against a plain white or black background so that everyone can see your work clearly.
Prizes
The winner of each category will receive an MMG Axe Trophy and will be featured in the Autumn Hobby Competition Results Blog.
Community Voting and Results
Voting will take place through community polls on the MMG Discord after entries close.
Once voting has concluded, the winning entries will be immortalised in an MMG Autumn Hobby Competition Results Blog.
Whether you’re painting a single character, an entire skirmish force or a spectacular piece of terrain, we look forward to seeing what you create this autumn.
