MMG 40K RTT – September 2026 Results

Another full house at Mighty Melee Games saw 20 players take to the tables for our September 2026 Warhammer 40,000 RTT.

The field featured an excellent spread of Imperial, Chaos and Xenos armies. Take and Hold was the most common force disposition, with Priority Assets also strongly represented, while players also brought Purge the Foe, Reconnaissance and Disruption forces.

After three rounds, Alex B and his Orks finished at the top of the standings with three wins, including two maximum 100-point scores. David S also completed the day unbeaten with his Deathwatch, taking second place on the final tiebreakers, while Corey G and his Imperial Knights completed the top three.

The podium represented three very different approaches to Warhammer 40,000: the numbers and aggression of the Orks, the elite flexibility of Deathwatch, and the towering firepower and resilience of Imperial Knights.

Event Awards

Best Painted: Harry G-C – T’au Empire

Best Painted went to Harry G-C for his stunning T’au Empire army. The vibrant turquoise, pink and purple colour scheme was carried consistently across the force, with crisp details and a superb centrepiece model that immediately stood out on the table.

Coolest Army: Rob N – Double Stompas

Coolest Army was essentially an automatic win for Rob N, who arrived with a glorious double-Stompa Ork list. Two enormous yellow war machines, covered in weathering, checks, glyphs and suitably excessive weaponry, delivered exactly the kind of spectacle this award exists to celebrate.

Best Opponent: Sam C

Sam C received the votes for Best Opponent. Thank you for helping make the event enjoyable for everyone across all three rounds.

What Do You Think of Force Dispositions?

Mark W commented that all three of his games were hard-fought slogs, with every opponent using Take and Hold. While this produced three close and demanding games, facing the same force disposition throughout the day also made the experience feel a little repetitive.
