Join us for a 20-player Grand Melee and Combined Arms event at Mighty Melee Games!

• 2,000 points
• 3 Games - GRAND MELEE and COMBINED ARMS.
• Matched Play rules
• Chess clocks encouraged (not supplied – please bring your own if you'd like to use one)

🕒 Schedule:

• Doors open: 08:30
• Game 1: 09:00–12:00
• Lunch: 12:00–13:00
• Game 2: 13:00–16:00
• Game 3: 16:15–19:15
• Prizegiving: 19:30

🛡 Army Composition:

This is a Grand Melee and Combined Arms event. Please build your list according to the current Matched Play Guide.

Legacy Armies are welcome, provided they follow:

📜 Scenarios:

Matched Play scenarios from the latest guide – rolled at random on the day.

Note: the terrain will be fixed and the recommended Secondary Objectives will apply to the relevant scenarios being played.

Attendees must bring:

• Your army
• Dice and tape measure
• All relevant rules (printed or digital)
• A printed army roster for your opponents and event staff

Chess clocks are encouraged for timekeeping but optional. If you're using a device for your rules, please ensure it’s fully charged and available throughout the event.

📘 Event FAQ – House Rules & Clarifications

To keep the event fun, balanced, and in the spirit of the game, the following clarifications apply:

Q: Do the –1 Movement penalties from multiple Grand Cathay Cannons stack?
A: No. If a unit is hit by one or more Grand Cathay Cannons in the same phase, it suffers a total of –1 Movement (not cumulative) until the end of its next turn.

Q: How many Grand Cathay Sky Lanterns can an army include?
A: A maximum of 2 Lanterns may be taken in any army list for this event.
