Welcome to our Winter 40K 1K League – an extra friendly, structured way to get games in, meet new players, sharpen your skills, and take one step closer to full 2,000-point play.

We’re using the 2025–26 Mission Deck and scoring system, along with current Incursion army-building guidelines. Games will be played on the standard Incursion board size (44"x60").

💡 House Rules & Restrictions

To keep things chill and balanced at 1,000pts:

• ❌ No units with a points cost of 201+
• ❌ No models with a Wounds characteristic of 14+
• ❌ No allied units via Imperial Agents, Chaos Daemons, or Knights
• ❌ No AIRCRAFT or TITANIC units
• 🤖 Imperial Knights: nominate one Knight to gain the CHARACTER keyword (this model is your Warlord)
• ⚔️ Battleline cap: max four Battleline units per army

• 5 matches across 10 weeks
• 2 weeks per round to schedule and play your game
• Pre-set terrain layouts & missions – announced when the league starts

❓ FAQ

Q: Does the 200pt unit limit include characters joining other units?
A: No. The 200-point cap applies to each individual unit as listed on your roster, not combined units during deployment. So a 195pt character joining a 160pt unit is absolutely fine.

Q: Are Chaos Daemons allowed if they're part of a faction detachment (e.g. World Eaters Daemonic Incursion)?
A: Yes. The “no allies” rule only bans Allied Detachments. If your detachment (like World Eaters Daemonic Incursion) includes Daemons as part of its core structure, that’s fine.

Q: Are Named Characters allowed?
A: Yes – so long as they cost 200pts or less, you’re welcome to bring them along.

Q: Are we to follow all Incursion rules written in the Chapter Approved 2025–2026 Season card deck?
A: Yes. The deck includes several changes to make Incursion games easier to score and more enjoyable. Key updates include objectives being placed slightly closer together, Battleline units being able to advance and perform actions, and shoot and perform actions. There are also additional setup changes. Please read the full Chapter Approved 2025–2026 rules carefully when building your list and preparing for games.
