The New Edition of Kill Team: What It Means for Your Existing Collection
With the launch of the new edition of Kill Team, players can dive into fresh tactical skirmishes while keeping many familiar teams and models in play. A range of existing Kill Teams will be repackaged with updated token sheets, including several teams that previously hadn’t received standalone releases in 2nd Edition. The new token sheets ensure that veteran teams are fully integrated with the latest rules and gameplay enhancements.
At launch, the following Kill Teams will be repackaged and ready for purchase, along with their supporting Datacard Packs:
- Hernkyn Yaegirs
- Nemesis Claw
- Mandrakes
- Brood Brothers
- Scout Squad
- Kommandos
- Blooded
- Corsair Voidscarred
For those who already have these teams, the rules will be available for free download online. However, if you prefer physical references, you can purchase the new Datacard Packs, which provide quick-reference cards to help streamline your games and keep all your team’s rules in one place.
In total, rules for 33 Kill Teams will be available for free download at launch, ensuring that all 2nd Edition teams can be used in 3rd Edition from day one. Existing Killzones, such as Gallowdark and Bheta-Decima, will also be fully supported, meaning that players with established terrain collections can seamlessly continue their Kill Team campaigns.
For those looking to expand their gameplay experience, the new edition also brings the Core Book, Approved Ops Card Pack, and Upgrade Equipment Pack, all available separately alongside the release of Kill Team: Hivestorm.
